This app works and the stroke order practice in the reference section is my favorite component. There are still two improvements I would like to see. One, the ability to replace the English meaning with the Japanese readings for the kanji in the game and two, the ability to turn romajj off in the settings.

Thank you Cozykiwibird - Excellent suggestions. A Romaji on/off feature will be in the next version. Kanji readings are another plus and on our list!

After living in Japan many moons ago and having studied Kanji, what a breath of fresh air it is to find an intuitive and interactive learning program such as this. No more ploughing through dense and turgid books. No more scribbling and practising your Kanji on countless pieces of scrap paper. This wonderful little app allows you to reference Kanji, their meanings as well as Chinese and Japanese root pronunciations and to boot, gives you the ability to view the character and scrawl the correct stroke technique to your heart's content. A clever little memory game enhances retention too! I would like to see words in the Japanese language that contain the Kanji derivative added, but for now, for such a small outlay, this is the perfect tool for brushing up on a script that is not only beautiful, but rewarding to learn. Five stars from me!

子供（小学生）が英語と漢字を学ぶのに使えるかなとと思い購入しましたが、やはり本来の趣旨とは異なっていたようです。 しかし下記の点をアップデートで改良してくださると、かなり使えると思います。 ①　英単語の発声をしてくれるようにする。 ②　英単語の表記（フォントサイズ）を大きくする。 よろしくお願いします。

This is my favorite iPad app. I'm currently working in Japan teaching English and I use this both by myself and my students. I have a lot of books for learning Kanji too, but I really enjoy using the game to see how much I know. The graphics are beautiful. The developers really did a great job.
